HENRY COOLDOWN



Formally the top ranked assassin of the UAA, but left the ranks for some reason.

But yet, he was somehow defeated by some stupid robot.

Note to self: make fun of him about that at some point.

Don't know much else, but I do know he was married to that insufferable Sylvia for quite some time. Which begs the question: which one annoyed the other more? Did Henry come to his senses at some point? Maybe he's smarter than I give him credit for.

But if he stayed with her, maybe I could have had a chance with No, forget it, that's all behind me now. I've got bigger things to focus on anyway. I mean, why did I even have FEELINGS for that idiot?! Ugh, I'm never going to let myself live that one down!

I don't know why the hell he, of all people, is the only person I recognize from my world, but I guess they could have kidnapped someone more grating than him.

Yep, so I met him today.

Got really defensive when I spoke badly about Sylvia. Does he still have feelings for her? Who cares, it's not like it matters anyway.

After talking it out, though, I think we're on the same page on things.

God help me, but I think I'm actually okay with talking to him. Like, he doesn't immediately annoy me like a lot of people do here. Really, the people I have to deal with around here...

But hell if I know how we got to talking about porn so much in our recent conversation.

So we've been fighting together a couple of times now. I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be teaming up with the brother of the man I used to call master, but Henry's turning out to be a decent ally around this shithole.

Things will probably change, once we get back to our home worlds, but that's just how things typically go in Santa Destroy.

So he showed back up in this outdated town. Apparently he's become some sort of repairman now? Ha, just look at us all, reduced to just everyday jobs like this. But hey, maybe he can finally fix these lame ass showers around here.

But it's going to be a chore to make up lies like this to keep him away from Travis. I really don't understand why someone, related through blood, would want to kill their own brother, because that's my one taboo, you know? Still, better not to ask too many questions.

While just about everyone else wants to get on that damned boat for mostly no good reason, I can appreciate the fact that at least Henry is with me for burning that stupid thing down.

So after getting into contact with him, we discussed some things, mostly about why he wants to kill his brother.

I guess I still can't agree with his reasoning completely, I can sort of understand where he's coming from? Even if brotherly concern is still pretty messed up... but what assassin isn't a little fucked up?

Though the weird thing is that after talking with him, some of the frustration I feel with Travis lessened a little. I'm still a little mad at him, but the fact that he was concerned about me dying (even if it's a little insulting he'd think I WOULD die that easily) was a little touching.

But both he and Henry still have the worst taste in women ever.

Still, I guess if Henry and I can have talks like this and not hold any grudges against each other, maybe we're better allies than I thought we ever could be.
