[Well, she wasn't actually asking about Ares. She'd already sussed out that Dagger was attached to Shinobu and reasoned Shinobu was at least a little bit attached back. Armada's confirmation that Shinobu was Dagger's favorite cemented her conclusions and...and Erin is not without empathy for people who lose someone important. Not always anyway.]

[While she kept as mum as she could, while Dagger was still around, it was mostly to try to protect him. But since he was gone now, it didn't really matter.
