Yeah. It's not where I originated from, but I had been there for most of my last few years before waking up here. As I'm sure you vividly remember.

You sure you don't wanna go over it again? But yeah. Granted, I had been living alone for a while in the US too.

Kind of, it's complicated. Couldn't really do w/e I wanted but I had my own apartment for a couple years while I was in hs and after I graduated.

Because of the whole expectations thing, right? That blows.

I guess it wasn't all that glamorous for me either, when I was in high school. It was hard trying to keep up with multiple things at once. But, it was almost a little nice when I moved out of the country for a while. The freedom, at least, was amazing.

What all were you doing in hs? You mean like training? I did that a lot too and started a long time ago.

Yeah, that can be a pretty heavy burden. Especially when you want to live up to the expectations.

Well, I was training up until I kinda lost the person I was learning from. My profession and studying to try to keep myself from failing school was enough to drive anyone nuts.

I hated studying too. There was too much going on anyway. You started your "profession" in hs though?

Yeah, I kinda got the impression you know all too well.

I didn't mind it that much, really. It was just too much on top of everything else.

Yeah, I started in high school. Youngest member, at the time, but also a whole lot more skilled than most back then too.

I don't remember what the hell the problem was, just that it made no damned sense to me, whatever it was.

[While she doesn't have any issue in revealing her profession, as she did when she was younger, Shinobu still hesitates for the sole reason of trying to keep panic down around the base.

Hey I didn't say I hired any, just that I worked with some. Or at least one. I hang out at Hunter HQ a lot too but that's for killing non-humans causing issues.
