I was among the group of the first recruits. I think there was about 200 then? If I had to guess now, there's probably about 50 of us left from that group.

To be fair, the apex species in the one planet we destroyed were these creatures that liked to vomit on everything. They were fierce fighters, but not the smartest thing in the universe.
