[ He's been asked to make a mechanical limb for Marco. He's never started a project like this before, isn't sure where to start, but as with anything--it's always best to get references. And since Shinobu's design seems to put up fairly well with all the shit she puts it through (seriously, who does her maintenance?) he figures her model must be worth emulating.
Trouble is, he's never seen it up close. ]

Would you mind if I had a look at your arm?

By now, I assume that many of the people from Red team received messages from Dagger.

November and I went to look for him after receiving no coherent responses, and we found something. Trying to use the tracker, we discovered that his beacon showed up in a number of different locations.

We have reason to believe that he may have been compromised.

This would be a good time to keep an eye on your unit.

[Havoc wasn't sure how she felt about Dagger being dead.
She was too newly returned to the capacity to feel in general to have formed a new opinion of the instructor based in her current range of emotion. But she knew how she felt- he had been unpredictable, not the best trait, but he had said he liked her, something as a Contractor she had been glad for. Ingratiating yourself to superiors was always a useful skill, and though she'd mind it now, she hadn't minded then- knowing that favor had likely only been because of the raw destruction she was capable of.
But she did know how she felt about killing simply for a rank. About April being dead and the whispers that Honey may have been the cause, but they lacked proof.
It's what brought her to Shinobu's door, what made her ring the comm, standing there awkwardly with slightly hollow gaze and dark circles under her eyes (couldn't sleep, the taste of copper was too fresh on her tongue, Dagger's gift of blood mocking her, condemning her from the foot of her bunk.). She didn't trust the Blackglass for this.]

[He can put things together - her new code, Armada's words, the way she'd been missing someone who couldn't be located. He's just... not sure how to approach this.]

[ Shortly after the Captain's announcement, the next time Shinobu steps into the hallway someone accidentally bumps into her. There will be no apology. Trying to catch up with the figure will be useless, as a hood covers their face and they're gone before she can blink. There is no indication as to who it was.
Instead, she will find something has been slipped into her hand. A small piece of paper, along with a badge depicting Big Dipper that clips onto her cuff. All the note says is "Wear it for him." ]

[ One message that precedes Gliese's announcement, and one that follows fast on its heels. There is a countdown in progress that he must also beat. Somewhere within the thirty minutes allotted by the Captain, he moves. His target is Shinobu's cuff. Detecting him is difficult; he wears no armor and no uniform. His presence speaks of battle-worn fluidity and lifetimes of practice in evasion.
She will find a flash of light invading her field of vision. A sharp gust of air passes, smelling of a storm. If she is quick, she'll witness a thin, flat expanse of glowing metal attaching itself to her cuff. It slips beneath its interface and causes its functions to waver with what appears to be static. A glitch, perhaps. It is a process which lasts seconds. Maybe less.
If she is quicker, she will find a human face looking over his shoulder at her. Only the dim electric glow of his eyes suggests otherwise. His lips quirk and he lifts a finger to them.
A blink will yield an imprint of light, and no one standing before her. ]
